Summer Trend: Bright & Flashy

    As a kid I loved temporary tattoos, they came in awesome designs and you applied them with only water. So basically some genius took this idea and sophisticated it. This type of  " temporary adult tattoo" is nothing new, but Flash Tattoos are different because they have a metallic finish and are mostly worn to resemble jewelry.  This trend is sooo hot right now, that in a  lot of places its sold out!  

 Cuando era una niña, me encantaban los tattoos temporales, habian diseños geniales y se aplicaban sobre la piel con agua. Básicamente un genio tomo esta idea y la sofistico. Este tipo de "tattoo para adultos" no es nada nuevo, pero los Flash Tattoos son diferente porque tienen un acabado metálico y se usan para imitar piezas de joyas femeninas. Rainbow Hair Trend

Summer means: longer and hotter days, beach parties, awesome music festivals and of coarse bright colors.This trend has been gaining fans since last year, with the dip-dyed trend but now it´s all about the total colored hair or color streaks.

 El verano significa: calurosos y largos días, fiestas en la playa, festivales de música estupendos y por su puesto colores vivos. El dip-dye  ha sido una tendencia  muy seguida desde el año pasado pero ahora se lleva con algunas mechas o totalmente colorado con tizas o tintes semi permanentes.   

Celebrities have really enbranced this trend and they serve as great inspiration!

To achieve similar looks you can choose between  hair chalk or non permanent hair dye. You can remove the coloring after several washes. Perfect for when you have to show up on Monday to work looking Chic&Clean, but you actually spent the weekend at a crazy rave party with your awesome rainbow hair.

 This summer season, the latest craze are pineapples. They are everywhere, crop tops, bags, jewelry and even phonecases!!!!


Este verano, la ultima sensación son las piñas. Estan por todas partes, tops, bolsos, joyas y carcasas para smartphones.

When I think of pineapples what comes to mind is Spongebob Squarepants and his crazy pineapple house.Who knew pineapples could be so fashionable!?


Cuando pienso en piñas solo me viene a la mente las casa de Bob Esponja. Quien iba a saber que las piñas fueran tan fashion!? 

This pineapple craze began with Moschino´s "Cheap and Chic" 2013 spring collection. Which featured a pineapple print in dark tones and they even took out really cute cross body bags!


La fiebre por las piñas comenzó con la colección de primavera 2013 "Cheap and Chic" de Moschino. 

What do you girls think of this trend?  Fun or  for people with bad taste?  Personally I´m going to dive into this trend. I think it´s a fun way to add a little bit of summer to an outfit and I also think that only during summer we´re allowed to wear wild colors and outfits. So why not?

DIY Almond Scrub

Days are getting warmer and Spring is on the way, and us girls need to start getting ready for cute tops, shorts and skirts! To help you all prepare, I am going to share with you this great scrub "recipe"  for exfoliating extra dry skin.

 Llega la primavera y necesitamos prepararnos para llevar faldas y camisas bonitas, asi que voy a compartir una "receta" para exfoliar una piel muy seca.

You will need:

• 1 cup of brown sugar     (tza azúcar)
• 8 Tbs of almond oil     (cda aceite almendra)
• 20 drops of vanilla essential oil    (gotas aceite esencia de vainilla)

 Now let´s talk about the ingredients and the benefits they have on our skin: sugar is the main ingredient and it´s perfect for gentle exfoliation, the almond oil is great for hydrating the skin because it contains vitamin E and finally the vanilla essential oil gives it a pleasant smell and helps you relax through aroma therapy.

Algunos de los beneficios de estos ingredientes son: la azúcar ayuda a exfoliar la piel suavemente, el aceite de almendra hidrata muchísimo la piel porque contiene vitamina E y la esencia de vainilla ayuda a relajarte atravéz de la aromaterapia.


Once you have mixed up all the ingredients, store it in a jar and give it a personal touch
